the blind man's utopia

we are living in a dark age
our future’s so insecure we try to escape
the painful truth of reality
our children wired to silver screens
eyes vacantly staring at a fantasy world

outside, warfare and violence
which scars all mankind, continues
will we ever escape this blind man’s utopia
and regain our true sight
with the vision of peace?
